2) Sexual Positions

Generally speaking, deep vaginal penetration is recommended if you want a boy because the male sperm will be deposited closer to the cervix — thereby avoiding the harshly acidic environment within the vagina. Conversely, shallow penetration and ejaculation creates an environment that’s more favorable to conceiving a girl.

3) Female Orgasms

An alkaline environment within the vagina is encouraged whenever a woman has an orgasm. Therefore, according to the Shettles Method, female orgasms create an environment that is more conducive to conceiving a boy because there is less vaginal acidity.

The Shettles Method however, has seen to have competitor which boasts a higher success rate. Ashley Spencer’s book has made its way into many doctors’ favorite.

Not that long ago my friends and I were talking about how much it would mean to us to each give birth to a baby boy. The more we talked about the subject, the more intrigued we became by the potential to have some degree of control over the process without having to visit an expensive gender selection clinic, or one of those other medical facilities that claim to be able to help you select the gender of your future baby.

So it is a ‘process’ and not something that can be achieved overnight – but yes; it is quite possible to increase the chances of conceiving a baby of a particular gender.
