How Can An Ovulation Calendar Help You Time Your Pregnancy?

Countless women from around the world have often struggled to figure out the best time to become pregnant. One of the tools that more and more women are turning to are ovulation calendars. So what exactly is ovulation? What’s an ovulation calendar and how can it help you time your pregnancy?

Let’s start with a quick explanation of what ovulation means. A woman’s menstrual cycle (period) generally lasts between 28 and 32 days. The start of each period is considered to be the first day of her menstrual period. Ovulation itself generally occurs between day 10 and day 19 of the menstrual cycle, or 12 to 16 days before the next period is due.

An ovulation calendar is an interactive tool that is designed to help a woman better predict when she will be most fertile. A basic ovulation calendar can be designed by asking a variety of questions. For example:

1) When was the beginning of the last menstrual cycle (period)?

You can figure this out by keeping track of when you get your period. Write this information down on a blank calendar, otherwise, it can be easy to lose track of when your cycle begins.

2) How long does the menstrual cycle (period) generally last?

Here too, good record keeping can help you monitor the duration of your cycle. In conclusion, an ovulation calendar can help you time your pregnancy by helping you figure out the best time to have sexual intercourse with your partner.

How To Conceive a Boy – Is It Possible?

The title of this article itself sounds a bit weird. How can one decide whether they’d like to conceive a boy or conceive a girl? All through our lives, we’ve been told that some things are best left to nature. However, there is a regular set of proofs and testimonials that keep coming up on the internet that claim that one can choose whether they’d like to conceive a boy or a girl.

Doctors say that it is quite possible, but is outside the realm of the field of regular medical science. So the methods that people talk about when it comes to making a boy or a girl are not because of medication or surgeries. Instead, they are normal simple methods of common sense – most of which were handed down the ages.

Talking about the ages, it was quite possible a few decades ago for midwives to predict whether the baby would be a boy or a girl – and they would most be correct more often than not. The real reason behind it was their wisdom and experience in matters related to marriage and childbirth, but with time – and with technology – that wisdom got lost in the busyness each of us has fallen into. Over the last few years, some of that learning has made a come back and that is how people today can claim to conceive a boy with a bit of planning and a few little things taken care of.

What is so brilliant is that all of this is possible without any change in the regular way we live our life! Ranging from the diet that goes into our body to the positional changes while having sex, there are various things which have been known to make a difference on the outcome. Just be sure that you trust a system that has been proven over the years.
